Having been a Councillor for Fairwater since 2017, and a longstanding school governor at local Primary and Comprehensive schools, Rose has been a well known face in the community for information and advice throughout the pandemic. Working with local community organisation Costar, Rose has helped establish the FoodShare scheme and crisis bags for those who most need it.

Jayne is a local resident who works as a teaching assistant with children who have special educational needs, recognising the need for a Torfaen Council that stands up for the most vulnerable in our society.  As a new candidate standing for the very first time, Jayne will work with Rose to ensure the voice of the people of Fairwater are heard, and put the needs of residents first.
