‘Torfaen Labour Controlled council is acutely aware of the impact on our residents, of the cost of living crisis. Huge price increases in the cost of energy, food and other basics are making life difficult for all of us.

‘In terms of some immediate action, we are developing cost of living and other information for our residents. This will guide people, who require help, to those agencies who are able to offer advice and support. For example, links to our benefits service page, links to citizen’s advice, housing advice, employment and training and food banks.

‘This process will be expanded as we progress through the year to include wider digital mapping for support.’
